INTRODUCTION

The Lord permits no rivals. In Isaiah 43:11I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour.

The Antichrist will sit in the temple of God claiming to be God (2 Thessalonians 2:4Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
See All...). He will torture the people of God (the Jews) and blaspheme the name of God. He will set up his image and demand that the people worship him (Revelation 13:14-15 [14] And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live. [15] And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.

• Write down some of the events that will take place in the tribulation period. How will those things add up to stir the Lord’s jealousy beyond any past time and event?
