That's an Amazing Address

Published Date:

Well, today is 6/6/06.  It certainly has generated a lot of talk about the number 666 in the news media and in other places.  I was talking to someone today about it, and was asked this question: Is the number 666 really in the Bible?  It certainly is in the Book, and it has an interesting address: Revelation 13:18.  I paused after the 13 to let that number sink in.  It certainly has an evil connotation, doesn't it?  Even the world, with its limited knowledge of the word of God, is wary of that number.  And the number 18 is interesting for it is 6 + 6 + 6!  What I failed to see in that address is something that did not escape my questioner's eyes.  After thinking about it for a while, I was informed that the sum of the digits (1+3+1+8) in that reference is 13!
