CONCLUSION: Sin is a horrible cancer. The lusts of one man led to a defeat in battle, the loss of innocent lives, and the discouragement of an entire nation. Surely the Lord was correct when He said, ”Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.” (Proverbs 14:34Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.
