INTRODUCTION – At times, even the world gives glory to God. Surely, the people of God ought to give Him glory.

  1. They Realized the Power of God  (1 Samuel 6:1-2; 1 Samuel 5:1-5, 11)
    1. Upon the gods  (1 Samuel 5:1-5; Exodus 12:12; Exodus 14:24-25)
    2. Upon themselves  (1 Samuel 5:11; 1 Samuel 6:1-2)

  2. They Realized the Praise of God  (1 Samuel 6:3-5)
    1. They gave Him an offering  (1 Samuel 6:3-4)
    2. They gave Him glory  (1 Samuel 6:5)

      2. Seen in God’s work  (Nehemiah  6:15-16)
  3. They Realized the Purpose of God  (1 Samuel 6:6)

CONCLUSION – If the world can so proclaim the glory of God, surely we, as His people, can give Him glory.
