          3. Trespass offering – a picture of the very practice of sin
        3. Did not our Lord Jesus do this very thing in the time of His crucifixion?
          1. Through His death, burial and resurrection we are enabled to live a life dedicated to Him (Romans 12:1-2).
          2. Through His death, burial and resurrection He took care of both the sin principle and the sin practice.
          3. This does not mean that we do not sin nor are we perfect in nature, but Christ took care of both so that we can be in fellowship with Him now and will be fit for fellowship with Him in eternity as our sin nature will be changed.

          3. It would appear that the Lord is emphasizing the preserving of this covenant with the High Priest (see Numbers 18:19 a statute for ever and see 2 Chronicles 13:5).
        7. Some points to ponder
          1. The heave and wave offerings are a picture of the cross.
