INTRODUCTION

The people of God must be cautious not to misuse the signs of the heaven. What exactly are these "signs"? According to Genesis 1:14And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:
See All..., the sun and moon are given "for signs." In Daniel 6:27He delivereth and rescueth, and he worketh signs and wonders in heaven and in earth, who hath delivered Daniel from the power of the lions.
See All..., the Lord is said to work "signs and wonders in heaven and in earth." Regardless of whether the Bible is speaking of the sun, moon, and stars, or special events that occur in the heavens, the truth remains that man is to be careful how he uses these "signs." As such, believers ought to reject astrology (i.e., horoscopes) and any other unscriptural use of the signs in the heavens. Let the heathen do as they will, but the saints of God must not be partakers with them.

• Why should believers reject horoscopes? Do these things associate you with the heathen or with God?
