INTRODUCTION

One day every born-again child of God will leave behind his or her tabernacle with all of its imperfections. They will trade this imperfect tabernacle for a glorified body that bears the likeness of the Lord Jesus Christ. It is this truth that John happily confessed in his first epistle when he said, “Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is” (1 John 3:2Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
