Free Bible Institute Online

Beginning in January of 2017, Antioch Baptist Bible Institute became available online, via live-stream! Students were able to watch the college courses live (online), download class notes, take exams, and earn credits. We are excited to announce that this opportunity is available again, but with expanded opportunities, as classes resume on January 21,2019.

Anyone can view the classes, but only registered students will be able to take the exams and earn credits. If you are a first time student to our Institute or have only taken courses through LTBU online, you will need to fill out a Student Application. All who are registering for classes taught this semester will need to fill out the Registration Form and initial the Student Check-List. All of these forms must be filled out and emailed as PDFs to pastorray@learnthebible.org. On the Registration form, only complete the top portion and write in the names of the classes you intend to take via live-stream. The rest will be completed by our office staff. No student will be registered until these materials are received in full. The deadline for registration is January 22nd!

Expanded Opportunities

As always, the classes are tuition free! We do not even ask for a registration fee. Additionally, this semester, we are broadening our allowance for online students. In semesters past, we opened the classes up to those who would watch online, but the classes had to be viewed live. This semester, we are allowing students to enroll, watch online, and take the finals, but without the stipulation of watching live. The only requirement will be that the student must register by the deadline, watch the classes either live or on the student's own schedule, and complete the final exam within 24 hours of the course's completion.

Class Details

Institute classes begin on January 21st, and will be held on Monday and Tuesday evenings from 6:00-10:00 PM. On Monday evenings at 6:00 PM, Pastor Andrew Ray will teach Bible Doctrines (survey) and at 8:20 PM, Pastor Ray will teach Colossians and Philemon. On Tuesday evenings at 6:00 PM, Brother Jonathan Judy will teach verse-by-verse on the Gospel of John and at 8:20 PM, Brother Judy will teach a course on Hymnology. This semester will also continue the chapel service between the classes each night.

Only registered students who attend (online) these classes and complete the necessary assignments will receive credits. We are thrilled to have such an open door to share God’s word and look forward to “seeing” you in class on Monday and Tuesday nights!

Many folks have written to express their regret that they could not keep up with the classes on the go. It is with great joy that we let you know the classes can be viewed on your own time schedule as they are being archived on our YouTube channel. However, students can only receive credit for these classes if meeting the requirements listed above. At the same time, we know many of you still want to be able to view and learn.
