INTRODUCTION

Perhaps no one was more religious than the apostle Paul. "After the most straitest sect" of his religion, Paul "lived a Pharisee." If any individual could have confidence in his religious efforts it would have been Paul (Philippians 3:4-6 [4] And his brightness was as the light; he had horns coming out of his hand: and there was the hiding of his power.
