See All...). In like manner, the trials of life are temporary and should be seen as such. The apostle Paul stated that the difficulties of life are merely a "light affliction, which is but for a moment" (2 Corinthians 4:17For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;
See All...). He likewise declared that "the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us" (Romans 8:18For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
See All...). The Bible paints this truth again in the thirtieth psalm when it said, "weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning" (Psalm 30:5For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.

DEVOTIONAL THOUGHTS

• (For smaller children) Job did not know what his outcome would be in this life, but he had hope (Job 19:25-27 [25] For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth: [26] And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God: [27] Whom I shall see for myself, and mine eyes shall behold, and not another; though my reins be consumed within me.
